The Apeks XTX50 / DST Stage Regulator Set includes environmentally sealed Apeks DST first stage with turret complete, adjustable Apeks XTX50 second stage and 40″ stage regulator hose.

Apeks XTX50 Second Stage with 40 Hose:

The Apeks XTX50 regulator can be converted from a right handed hose configuration (as supplied from the APEKS factory in the standard) to a left handed one. This feature is known as the Reversible Venturi System (RVS). Changing the regulator to a left handed configuration is both quick and simple and can be performed by any APEKS Authorised Service Technician.

The XTX50 regulator incorporates the new feature of Diver Changeable Exhausts system (DCE). This system gives the diver the ability to change from a small exhaust tee to a large exhaust tee. This gives the user a choice of the wider exhaust tee for minimal bubble interference (essential for underwater photography) and the narrow exhaust tee for a smaller compact comfortable regulator (ideal for use as an octopus regulator).

The XTX50 regulator incorporates a new two-shot high strength composite front cover, improving the durability of the most vulnerable part of the demand valve.

The new ergonomic Venturi lever of the XTX50 has been designed to reduce the amount of grit ingress.

A new silicone exhaust valve has been used on the XTX50 regulator improving breathing performance.

Apeks DST First Stage:

The Apeks DST first stage regulator is ideal for stage cylinder regulator due to swivelling turret.

Unique over-balanced, diaphragm design – as the diver descends, the over-balancing feature allows the medium pressure gas in the hose to increase at a rate faster than ambient. This results in superior performance at depth.

An environmental dry system keeps water out of the main spring chamber thus preventing ice buildup and keeping silt and contamination out.

Scubapro MK25 EVO A700 is a very high performance regulator that is designed for cold conditions. The MK25 first stage is paired with the metal bodied A700 second stage for effortless breathing and excellent cold water performance.

MK25 EVO 1st Stage is one of the highest performance first stages available now, with a dramatically evolved balanced piston first stage with 30% increased freezing resistance, greater inhalation sensitivity for ultrafast breathing response, instant delivery of air on demand and extra high airflow no matter how cold the water temperature. The balanced piston design is more than capable of supporting a whole team of divers simultaneously without faltering. The sleek body has heat exchanging fins incorporated into its design to aid dissipation of the cold generated by the first stage as it works. The piston and main spring have been specially coated with an anti-freeze layer to improve cold water performance and reliability. The MK25 provides two high pressure ports and five low pressure ports (four around a swivelling turret and a high flow port of the very end of the turret).

The A700 2nd Stage features a full metal housing that is designed to offer excellent cold water performance as the metal construction allows the cold to be transferred to the surrounding water far quicker and more efficiently than normal plastic housings. The A700 allows the diver to independently adjust the Venturi and inhalation resistance. The Venturi control adjusts the flow of air within the housing, directly it toward the mouthpiece for optimal flow or toward the diaphragm to aid closing the valve. The inhalation control increases or decreases the tension on the valve spring, making it harder or easier to breathe (the default position is tuned to provide optimal performance).

Smaller and lighter than the S600, but using the same sized diaphragm, the S620Ti delivers excellent performance.
